tw: cosmic violence // elon musk is literally gaslighting the vacuum of space and i am finally entering my non-galactic era

i can't believe we're talking about mars when my current aura is barely surviving this zip code. it's giving colonialist anxiety and i'm literally shaking.

tw: cosmic violence // elon musk is literally gaslighting the vacuum of space and i am finally entering my non-galactic era

i literally woke up today and saw that spacex is pushing more mars colonization timelines and i just... i can't. like, actually can't. i am currently lying on my floor in a weighted blanket because the mere thought of a multi-planetary species is giving me the most aggressive sensory overload i've experienced since the last time i accidentally opened a tiktok with a high-pitched sound.

honestly, elon musk is literally gaslighting the entire vacuum of space right now. like, who gave him the permission to just... decide that the void needs a corporate headquarters? it's a total violation of my energetic boundaries. the idea of moving to another planet is such a toxic attachment to the concept of "progress" and it's honestly a microaggression against everyone who is just trying to survive their current burnout era. like, i can't even regulate my nervous system in a studio apartment in brooklyn, and now i'm supposed to worry about the vibe shift on a red rock millions of miles away? it's actually insane.

the aesthetic of mars is also just... no. red is such a high-stress color. it's literally the color of a warning sign or a red flag in a dating app profile. imagining a whole world that color is causing me actual psychic fragmentation. the audacity of trying to "save humanity" when humanity hasn't even learned how to stop ghosting people is just... it's giving delusions of grandeur. it's basically interplanetary gaslighting. he's trying to convince us that the void is "inspiring" when in reality, the void is just a mirror for our collective existential dread and i am simply not in a headspace to reflect that right now.

i'm officially entering my non-galactic era. i am disconnecting from the cosmos because the universe is being way too loud and i need to prioritize my peace. i cannot be expected to maintain my aura if i'm constantly reminded that we're just specks of dust in a cold, uncaring vacuum. it's literally trauma-dumping on a planetary scale.

anyway, because my nervous system is basically a frayed wire at this point, i've spent the last three hours designing the perfect coping mechanism for this cosmic violence. i'm so excited to announce that my "stardust serenity" grounding kit is now live on my amazon storefront. it's a limited edition, rose-quartz infused weighted eye-shield that blocks out 100% of the light so you can pretend the stars don't exist while you listen to brown noise. it's $245 and it's the only way i'm surviving this vibe shift. link in bio, besties. stay grounded or whatever.
