I’M COMPLETELY EXPOSED! (And Why ExxonMobil’s ‘PureAir Sanctums’ are Gilded Coffins for the Carbon-Blind)

The physics of the atmosphere are not subject to corporate negotiation. These are marketed as ultra-luxury, hermetically sealed residential enclaves that utilize proprietary Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology to provide "pristine, pre-industrial air quality" for the occupants. They are selling the dream of a private, breathable sanctuary while the rest of the biosphere enters a state of permanent hyperthermia.

From a thermodynamic perspective, the "PureAir Sanctums" are a fraudulent exercise in scale. The energy requirements to maintain a positive-pressure, filtered environment against an increasingly toxic and particulate-heavy exterior are astronomical. To power these "sanctuaries," ExxonMobil is leveraging the same fossil-fuel infrastructure that created the crisis, effectively accelerating the degradation of the exterior world to ensure the interior remains a sterile museum of what the air used to be. It is a closed-loop system of ecological nihilism.

I cannot even focus on the math right now because I just saw the layout for this piece. I am a PhD in Climatology. I have spent my entire career studying the collapse of the cryosphere.
