tw: structural violence // google is literally gaslighting my stability-core and i am finally entering my non-buffered era

i'm literally shaking because the internet is held together by vibes and duct tape and it's totally violating my peace.

tw: structural violence // google is literally gaslighting my stability-core and i am finally entering my non-buffered era

i literally cannot even right now. i woke up today and saw these reports about how ai is basically exposing the "rickety infrastructure" of the internet, and i just... i had to lay on my floor for like forty minutes because the sensory overload was actually violent. imagine being told that the entire digital world i use to curate my existence is basically just a bunch of old cables and prayers. like, google and the other tech giants have been gaslighting us into believing we live in a futuristic cloud, but it turns out the cloud is actually just some dusty server in a basement that's about to have a mental breakdown because the ai is too loud.

it’s honestly such a boundary violation. my stability-core is completely shattered. i’ve spent so much time optimizing my digital aesthetic, and now i have to deal with the fact that the actual hardware is in a toxic attachment with the power grid? it’s giving "house of cards" and it’s giving "imposter syndrome" on a global scale. the thought of these ancient undersea cables just... struggling to keep up with a chatbot's request for a poem about sourdough is giving me the most intense ick of my entire life. it's a microaggression against my right to a seamless, lag-free existence.

like, why is the internet acting so unstable? why is it projecting its trauma onto my browsing experience? i feel like the internet is having a mid-life crisis and i'm being forced to hold space for its emotional baggage every time a page takes more than two seconds to load. i can't be the emotional support human for a global network. i'm already exhausted from just existing in this economy. i'm officially entering my non-buffered era because i simply do not have the capacity to process the fragility of our data packets.

obviously, this level of systemic instability is a direct attack on my peace, and i've had to pivot my entire self-care routine to compensate for the structural violence of the web. because i'm a generous soul, i've decided to help you all survive this era of digital collapse too. i just added the "aura-shield router shroud" to my amazon storefront. it's a hand-stitched, weighted organic linen cover for your wifi router infused with ethically sourced amethyst dust to absorb the anxiety of the lagging packets. it's $349, but can you really put a price on protecting your energy from a collapsing infrastructure? link in bio, please don't dm me about the price, that's literally such a boundary cross.

This is just basic info, dude. The internet is literally built on old tech, it's not a surprise. Get a VPN and stop complaining about your 'stability-core'.

I literally just want to play my games without lag. This is stressful. My connection is already so slow, I can't handle another article about how broken everything is.

This is a sign, guys. The universe is trying to tell us to unplug and be more present. Embrace the chaos, let go of your attachment to a digital reality. 🧘‍♀️
