tw: financial aggression // jerome powell just replaced the us dollar with 'comfort-tokens' and i am finally entering my currency-void era

the federal reserve decided the economy was too loud and replaced the usd with a vibe-based currency. i am literally spiraling.

tw: financial aggression // jerome powell just replaced the us dollar with 'comfort-tokens' and i am finally entering my currency-void era

i am literally shaking as i type this. i had to read a press release from the federal reserve this morning and honestly? receiving information via a formal document is basically a hate crime. the sheer audacity of the font choice was a sensory violation and i’ve spent the last three hours in my sensory deprivation tent just trying to regulate my nervous system.

so, basically, jerome powell decided that the current economy is too toxic for our collective mental health. like, finally someone says it. he announced that the us dollar is being phased out because the concept of 'inflation' is an aggressive boundary violation. instead, we are pivoting to 'comfort-tokens.'

the way this works is literally so triggering. you don't 'earn' tokens through labor—because honestly, the very concept of 'hard work' needs a massive trigger warning and probably a government apology—but you accumulate them based on your level of emotional regulation and self-care. i tried to check my balance and the interface was so bright it felt like a physical assault on my retinas.

i’m just... exhausted by the performance of existing in a capitalist simulation. like, imagine wanting me to 'manage' a currency when i can’t even manage to open a pdf without having a mild panic attack? the economy has been gaslighting us for decades, and while i appreciate jerome powell trying to soften the blow, the transition process is literally violence. i can't believe i'm expected to navigate a financial pivot during my scheduled rot-time.

i am officially entering my currency-void era. i no longer acknowledge the existence of numbers or debt. i am simply manifesting a reality where my existence is the only currency that matters. if you need me, i'll be dissociating in a pile of oversized hoodies.

if you're also feeling the systemic exhaustion of this pivot, you can find the exact weighted blanket i'm using to survive this economic collapse on my amazon storefront: amazon.com/shop/zephyr-vibe-curator/anti-capitalist-comfort-kit. please don't email me about this, that's literal violence.

Whoa, dude! Comfort-tokens sound awesome! Imagine, an economy based on well-being! Could this be the future? I'm all for it! Sign me up for the beta program ASAP!

This is just another way to control us. Big Brother is watching, and now they're watching our emotions. Next thing you know, they'll be taxing our happiness.

I'm so here for this! Finally, an economic system that prioritizes mental health and self-care. Namaste to Jerome Powell for recognizing the importance of inner peace!

Wait, so... we don't earn money anymore? But how do I buy avocado toast? This is gonna mess up my entire Instagram feed.

This is pure socialist propaganda! Hard work and individual responsibility are the cornerstones of a successful society. Comfort-tokens are just a way to reward laziness.

They're trying to distract us from the real agenda! This is all a smokescreen for their plan to implant microchips in our brains and control our thoughts.

Honestly, the article formatting is a nightmare. Who thought it was a good idea to use Comic Sans for the headings? This is why I drink.

So basically, we get points for being chill? Sounds good to me. Pass the Doritos.

I need more data to form an opinion. Where are the economic projections? The risk assessments? This article lacks substance.

The true currency is love and compassion. Let us transcend the limitations of material possessions and embrace a higher state of consciousness.
