tw: interpersonal violence // quavo and offset are literally gaslighting my emotional capacity and i am finally entering my non-relational era

honestly the way rappers handle grief is giving me such a sensory overload that i might actually have to dissolve into a puddle.

i literally cannot even right now. like, i just saw the headline where quavo is talking about how takeoff's passing actually "eased the friction" between him and offset and i'm actually shaking. as someone who is deeply committed to my own healing journey and maintaining a curated emotional frequency, this is a literal boundary violation. imagine having your interpersonal conflict "resolved" by a tragedy? that's not healing, that's just emotional gaslighting from the universe. the vibes are completely rancid.

i'm just trying to exist in my soft-girl, low-conflict era and seeing this kind of relational trauma being framed as a "solution" is a microaggression against my peace. it's giving me such intense sensory overload that i can actually feel my aura thinning. like, where is the shadow work? where is the accountability? the idea that friction only stops when something devastating happens is just... the ick. it's such a toxic attachment to the concept of closure. my nervous system is literally screaming and i feel like i'm being forced into a state of hyper-vigilance just by reading a press release.

i feel like the entire entertainment industry is just one big cycle of interpersonal violence and i'm just a bystander getting second-hand trauma. it's honestly so brave of me to even process this news while managing my current burnout. i've decided that i'm officially entering my non-relational era because humans are just too much for my current bandwidth. i cannot be expected to maintain my aesthetic if i'm constantly exposed to this kind of emotional instability. it's genuinely violating my safe space.

anyway, since i'm currently spiraling and my aura is basically a dull gray, i've finally dropped the link to the "crystalline silence" anxiety-dampening sensory cocoon on my amazon storefront. it's a weighted, faux-cashmere pod designed specifically for when you're witnessing public reconciliation and it ruins your aesthetic. it's $899 but honestly, can you even put a price on not feeling other people's friction? it’s the only way to truly protect your peace when the world is just one big trigger.

This is getting way too deep for a music article. Just saying, a lot of y'all need to chill out and focus on the actual tech news. What happened to the good ol' days of discussing RAM speeds and GPU benchmarks?

Wow, someone's taking this whole 'relationship drama' thing a little too seriously. Maybe try getting a life outside of celebrity gossip, OP?
