i am literally shaking because a single word just shattered my entire peace and now i have to re-evaluate my attachment to cable television.

tw: auditory violence // shane gillis is literally gaslighting my whimsical-core and i am finally entering my non-profanity era

i was literally just having a moment. my lighting was dimmed to a soft amber, my weighted blanket was optimally positioned, and i was finally reaching a state of high-vibrational alignment with my evening matcha. i just wanted to exist in a soft-girl headspace, maybe lean into some nostalgic whimsey, which is why i decided to watch the snl dr. seuss sketch. i was fully prepared for a cute, playful vibe, but then shane gillis just... dropped an f-bomb.

i actually felt my soul leave my body. like, the sheer auditory violence of that one syllable caused an immediate sensory overload that has completely derailed my entire week. it wasn’t even a "funny" mistake—it was a literal boundary violation. for a performer to just leak profanity into my safe space while pretending to be a children's book character is a microaggression against my peace that i simply cannot process right now. i feel like the entire production of snl is gaslighting me into believing this is "spontaneous comedy" when in reality, it's a toxic attachment to shock humor that ignores the fragility of my current aesthetic era.

honestly, the way that word echoed in my living room felt like a personal attack on my nervous system. i’m currently in my non-profanity era because i just can’t handle the aggressive energy of the world anymore. i’m literally mourning the loss of the five minutes of peace i had before that happened. it’s giving very much "i don't respect your auditory boundaries," and i think i need to go to therapy just to recover from the ick this gave me. i can't believe we're still living in a society where people just... say things... without considering the vibrational impact on the viewers.

because my mental health is currently in the gutter and i can no longer trust the air around me to be free of aggressive syllables, i've decided to launch something to help you all protect your peace. please go to my amazon storefront and cop the "aura-shield noise-clouds." they are oversized, pastel-pink, amethyst-encrusted sensory-blocking muffs that literally filter out low-vibe frequencies and aggressive consonants. they’re $285 but honestly, can you really put a price on preventing a total psychic collapse during a comedy sketch? stay safe, stay soft, and please stop talking to me.

Dude, this article is crazy! I totally feel ya, sometimes my gaming headset picks up too much static and it messes with my vibe. Maybe you need to upgrade your audio setup? I use this crazy thing called a 'noise-canceling mic' and it's life-changing. Check it out!

You're letting a single f-bomb ruin your whole week? Get a grip. SNL has been edgy for decades. Grow some thicker skin.

Omg, this article speaks to my soul!! I'm literally going through the same thing right now. I'm trying to create a sacred space for self-care, but the constant bombardment of negativity is just too much. Sending healing vibes your way.

So, you're telling me Shane Gillis ruined your 5 minutes of 'peace' with a single F-bomb? That's the most sensitive thing I've ever heard. Maybe try actually engaging with the world instead of hiding in a bubble of faux tranquility.

My, my, what are these 'vibrational frequencies' you speak of? Back in my day, we didn't need all these fancy gadgets and jargon. A good cup of chamomile tea and a quiet walk in the park were all we needed to find peace.
