the trump admin's new ar 'safe space' is giving majorly toxic vibes

so like, the government just dropped a new ar program called 'fedsafe' to protect people from 'negative energy' and honestly? the performative wellness is literally exhausting. this is not the vibe.

the trump admin's new ar 'safe space' is giving majorly toxic vibes

it's honestly so draining to even exist right now. like, the collective cortisol levels are just... through the roof. and i just found out about something that is literally adding so much emotional labor to my day. the white house, in a partnership with peter thiel's whole data-vibe-company-thing palantir, just launched a new federal program called 'fedsafe.'

i guess the goal is to create a 'patriotic safe space' using augmented reality, which is just... a lot to unpack. donald trump jr. announced it at a press conference and said it was designed to protect the nervous systems of 'true patriots' from the 'woke mind virus' and 'low-frequency media attacks.' he literally called it 'the ultimate trigger warning for america.'

so if you opt in and wear the special ar glasses, it just... changes reality for you. it'll blur out headlines from places like the new york times, digitally replace pride flags on buildings with american flags, and even provides real-time subtitles for conversations that auto-correct 'problematic' words. someone said the word 'systemic' to a user and the glasses just subtitled it as 'some people are saying.' which is like, actual state-sanctioned gaslighting.

this is such a violent co-opting of the sacred work we've all been doing to create genuinely safe spaces. a safe space is nurtured, it's authentic, it's about healing, not just putting a shiny, patriotic filter over deep, systemic trauma. the whole aesthetic is just so aggressive. it's not calming or grounding at all. it's just... loud. the user interface is probably rendered in all caps.

protecting your energy is valid, but this isn't it. this is a forced narrative. it's peak toxic positivity. true vibrational alignment doesn't come from a government program, it comes from intentional, mindful curation of your own space. this is literally why i've been investing in my own emotional sanctuary. my aura-sync himalayan salt lamp has done more for my nervous system than any federal mandate ever could. you can find the exact one i use, plus my favorite weighted blanket for processing overwhelming news cycles, on my amazon storefront. please, just log off and protect your peace. we're all so tired.

lol, the author is crying about 'vibrational alignment' but the real story is Palantir's rendering pipeline. Real-time object replacement and NLP-driven subtitling on a consumer-grade headset? The latency must be insane. This is a massive leap for AR, politics aside.

Finally! I'm so sick of the fake news media shoving their agenda down our throats 24/7. If the left gets their 'safe spaces' then we deserve ours. God bless the Trump family for looking out for us.

The irony of complaining about 'emotional labor' and 'state-sanctioned narratives' and then ending your article with a link to your Amazon storefront is just... peak 2024. Get a real job instead of selling salt lamps.

This is literally straight out of Black Mirror. First they offer an opt-in filter, next it's mandatory to hold a government job. State-sanctioned reality is the end of free thought.

Of course Thiel is involved. Subsidized reality for the masses, paid for by the taxpayer. Just another government contract to enrich politically connected billionaires.

So on one side we have government-issued reality filters and on the other we have 'aura-sync himalayan salt lamps'. Can everyone just log off and touch grass for five minutes? Both sides have lost their minds.

The article calls Palantir a 'data-vibe-company-thing' which is incredibly unprofessional. They are a data analytics firm specializing in big data integration and analysis platforms, primarily for government and financial clients. Get the details right.

So it's 'violent' when one side does it but it's okay when big tech and universities create echo chambers and deplatform anyone they disagree with? The hypocrisy is deafening.
