i literally cannot with the way venmo is trying to make "greed" an aesthetic right now. my aura is actually shaking.

tw: financial violence // venmo is literally gaslighting my wealth-core and i am finally entering my non-transactional era

i am literally shaking as i type this from my weighted blanket because the news just hit my feed and it is actually a hate crime against my peace. apparently some account called ‘ebenezer’ made a real venmo profile for scrooge—you know, the guy from the book—and now this digital entity is just... out here handing out money and taking it? like, who allowed this into my digital ecosystem?

honestly, this is such a massive boundary violation. i am currently in my soft-girl-abundance era and seeing a literal embodiment of greed appearing in my financial feed is giving me the most visceral ick i have ever experienced. it’s not even about the money, because like, i don’t even have money, but the *vibe* of it is just so aggressive. it’s giving sensory overload. the idea of a fictional miser having a functional payment handle is basically venmo gaslighting me into believing that poverty is a performance art piece.

like, why is paypal allowing this toxic attachment to capital to manifest as a bot? it’s a microaggression against everyone who is just trying to manifest a low-stress lifestyle. my therapist always tells me to protect my energy, but how am i supposed to regulate my nervous system when the algorithm is literally pushing a victorian-era greed-core aesthetic into my transactional history? it’s literally emotional violence. i feel like my entire aura is being drained by the sheer lack of mindfulness in this project. i am officially entering my non-transactional era because the current financial landscape is just too loud for my spirit.

since my cortisol levels are literally peaking and i’m probably having a minor dissociative episode, i’ve decided to launch something to help you all survive this era of financial instability. i’ve added the "abundance-alignment bio-crystal phone adhesive" to my amazon storefront. it’s a genuine rose quartz shard coated in a proprietary "anti-scarcity" shimmer that you glue directly onto the back of your phone. it’s $145 but it literally realigns your financial frequency so you don’t feel the trauma of seeing a scrooge bot in your feed. please buy it so i can pay for my weekly somatic experiencing sessions.

Wow, this is crazy! A Scrooge Venmo? I never thought I'd see the day. I wonder if he'll give me some of his money! I could really use it for my new RTX 4090.

This is actually a pretty cool play on the DeFi space. Imagine if Scrooge could actually mint his own token and distribute it! I'm sensing a whole new level of wealth redistribution happening here. To the moon!

Another day, another way for Big Tech to exploit us. This 'Scrooge' thing is just a marketing ploy to make people feel bad about their finances and then sell them some 'solution'. Don't fall for it.

Ugh, this is SO disruptive to my flow. I'm trying to meditate and manifest abundance, and now there's this Scrooge bot messing with my energy! Anyone else feeling overwhelmed? We need to find a way to create some digital peace.
